Texas Health Resources, Inc. is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for the Women’s Care Clinic in Alliance, TX.

This full-time role offers a daytime schedule with Monday–Thursday 8:00am–5:00pm and Friday 8:00am–12:00pm, along with a sign-on for eligible new hires. You will perform CMA duties, assist providers, record vital signs, administer medications, and help coordinate patient testing in a fast-paced women’s health clinic.

Qualifikationen

• Requires CMA certification upon hire.
• 1+ year Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Women's Health Services in a medical clinic preferred.
• ACLS preferred or BCLS required.

Aufgaben

• Delivers care to patients following CMA process.
• Performs general patient care per standards and procedures.
• Greets and prepares patients for provider visits.
• Obtains and records vital signs (BP, temp, pulse, respiration, height, weight, allergies, meds).
• Administers medications and vaccines as ordered.
• May draw blood samples and prepare specimens for testing.
• Schedule diagnostic tests and ensure completion.
• Document care plans and test results in medical records.
• Communicate test results and care plans to patients.
• Maintain sterile instruments and clean exam rooms.
• Escalate non-routine issues to management or providers.
• Ensure safety checks and quality controls are completed.
• Protect patient privacy and safety; assist front desk as needed.
