Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for the Women's Health department in Jersey City, NJ. The role supports providers, schedules tests, takes histories and vital signs, and assists with exams and patient flow in a busy clinic.

The position is full-time, with an hourly wage range of $23.50–$29.90 and on-site work at 116 Newark Avenue. A CMA credential and BLS are required; EMR experience (Epic) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CMA credential.
• Experience with clinical and administrative tasks is preferred.
• Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule tests and patient visits.
• Take patient history and vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examination.
• Assist with front and back office duties.
• Greet patients and collect demographics and payments.
