Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide patient care in collaboration with physicians, exercising clinical autonomy in evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up, and educating patients as needed.

You will document in electronic medical records, order tests, interpret results, and prescribe therapies within scope, working closely with staff to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Proficiency in patient assessment, diagnostic interpretation, and clinical procedures.
• Strong communication skills, ethical judgment, and ability to work collaboratively in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and establish presumptive diagnoses, developing treatment plans.
• Document thoroughly in electronic medical records and prescribe appropriate therapies based on evidence-based practice.
• Adjust or discontinue medications as needed, reporting significant risks to the collaborating physician.
• Perform procedures within legal scope and communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff.
• Follow policies and guidelines to meet organizational goals and ensure safe, quality care.
