Job summary

Robert Morris University seeks an assistant coach for the NCAA Division I women's golf program. You will support the Head Coach in skill development, course management, practice execution, and operational logistics while ensuring compliance with NCAA, conference, and university rules.

Responsibilities include coaching, travel coordination, recruitment support, and event organization for home tournaments and clinics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 1–2 years of collegiate or elite amateur/junior golf experience.
• Knowledge of golf strategy, swing mechanics, and course management.
• Firm understanding of NCAA Division I bylaws on practice hours and recruiting.
• Familiarity with launch monitors TrackMan/Quad, putting sensors, and analytics.
• Strong instructional communication and travel logistics planning.
• Ability to travel, irregular hours, and walk 18+ holes daily carrying gear.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• First Aid, CPR, AED certs or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• NCAA Division I Coaches Certification / Recruiting Test clearance (annual).

Responsibilities

• Support Head Coach in daily practice planning and on-course coaching.
• Coordinate travel, lodging, meals, and tournament entry documentation.
• Assist with recruiting, evaluation, and administrative records.
• Support home tournaments, clinics, and program fundraising as assigned.
