Job summary

WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital is seeking an experienced Nursing Administrator to plan, organize, and direct Nursing/Patient Care Areas. This role ensures quality of care across all ages and maintains performance improvement activities, while guiding budget development and compliance with regulations.

The position requires a BSN, an RN license, and at least five years of nursing experience with two in management; a Master’s degree and MSN are preferred, along with critical care

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state or multi-state license via eNLC.
• BSN degree required.
• Five years nursing experience with at least two years in a management/administrative role.
• Master’s degree in related field and MSN preferred, plus BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and directs Nursing/Patient Care Areas to meet care standards.
• Maintains performance improvement activities and CQI participation.
• Ensures nursing personnel competency and budget formulation/maintenance.
• Collaborates with CEO and Director of Finance on budget requirements.
