Women's Behavioral Health Technician - 3rd Shift

Location: Dunwoody Recovery Place, LLC

Join Atlanta’s premier substance abuse treatment facility, offering individualized, holistic care in a safe environment. We are seeking a dedicated Women's Behavioral Health Technician for the 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:30am, Wednesday - Sunday preferred). This full-time position begins at $17.00/hour, with a specific requirement for female applicants to provide overnight care for female clients.

Role Overview

The Behavioral Health Technician is crucial to the Dunwoody Recovery Place (DRP) system, responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of clients, recording behaviors, and creating a supportive environment. Ideal candidates are problem-solvers, decisive during crises, and interested in mental health growth.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain infection control and safety protocols
  • Complete incident reports and communicate with the team promptly
  • Attend staff meetings and training
  • Create a safe environment and supervise medication intake
  • Assist in daily routines and client orientation
  • Transport clients and monitor behavior
  • Perform searches and enforce residential rules
  • Take vital signs and observe medical needs
Qualifications
