Job summary

Northeastern University in Boston, MA, is seeking an Assistant Coach to support the varsity athletics program. You will assist with practice and game-day decisions, develop player skills, and handle administrative duties while identifying prospective student-athletes nationwide in compliance with NCAA regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–3 years of coaching experience, preferably at a Division I program.
• Collegiate playing experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of recruiting practices and NCAA regulations.
• Experience with budgeting procedures and strong communication and management skills.
• Must be available to travel and work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach with practice and game-day decisions and develop training drills.
• Scout opponents and provide analysis for competitive preparation.
• Identify and cultivate prospective student-athletes in line with regulations.
• Attend departmental meetings, programs, and clinics.
• Assist with fundraising efforts as needed.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned by Head Coach.
