Responsibilities

• Consult with physicians; evaluate patients and develop evidence-based plans for wounds, ostomies, continence.
• Write orders within scope of practice; determine care frequency and modifications as condition changes.
• Provide education pre-/post-op and support psychosocial adaptation for patients and families.
• Perform Nursing Process steps; coordinate care with interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver patient-centered care with clear hand-offs and timely documentation.
• Practice safety and quality standards; stay current with clinical guidelines.
