Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse to provide comprehensive plans of care in wounds, ostomies and continence for inpatients and outpatients. The role involves collaboration with the Wound Care Manager and other healthcare professionals to implement programmatic changes and keep practice up-to-date with current research.

Minimum training includes RN licensure with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing; WOCNCB CWON/CWOCN certification is required for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of Nursing.
• CWOCN/WOCNCB certification required for WOCN II; CWON certification may be preferred for II.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing management for wounds, ostomies, and continence across ages from neonate to adult.
• Collaborate with other health care providers to implement programmatic changes and update clinical practice.
