Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license (required)
• Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) certification (required)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Continence certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical expert for wound, ostomy, continence needs across nursing/medical teams
• Develop and evaluate evidence-based standards of care and training programs
• Lead hospital-wide skin integrity and wound management initiatives
• Design and deliver education and competency assessments for staff and new hires
• Provide consult and care planning for ostomies, incontinence, and wounds
• Collaborate with physicians and teams to update treatment plans with evidence
• Participate in skin rounds and monitor quality data to drive improvements
• Support inventory, product evaluation, and cost-effective wound care formulary
• Mentor WOCN students and participate in policy committees
