Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks a part-time Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing (WOCN) specialist to deliver expert care across inpatient units, focusing on wounds, ostomies, fistulas, and incontinence. You will assess, educate and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

BSN required with RN licensure; CWOCN certification preferred and must be obtained within 24 months. Role is on-site at the Gonda Building; TN sponsorship is available for qualified candidates;

Qualifications

• Graduation from a baccalaureate ACEN or CCNE-accredited nursing program; if not within last 2 years, one year RN or LPN Mayo Clinic experience is required.
• One year of professional RN experience required.
• BSN is required; CWOCN certification preferred and must be obtained within 24 months in the position.
• Must maintain current RN license and BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Provide expert wound ostomy continence care across inpatient units.
• Coordinate assessment, planning, education and counseling for high-risk patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and act as educator and consultant in the clinical specialty.
