Qualifikationen

• Active RN license
• U.S. Citizen
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider
• ACLS
• Graduate of accredited WOCN education program (WOCNEP)
• Current WOCN certification (WOCNCB)
• Minimum 2 years of recent WOC RN experience (within last 4 years)
• Strong clinical knowledge of advanced wound care equipment and techniques
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

Aufgaben

• Plan, implement, and evaluate specialized care for wound, ostomy, and continence management
• Provide care across inpatient and ambulatory settings
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based, cost-effective care
• Educate patients, families, and staff on wound care management and prevention strategies
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and make clinical recommendations to providers
• Train and mentor nursing and therapy staff in wound and ostomy care best practices
• Support quality improvement initiatives and promote clinical excellence
• Plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care to inpatient and ambulatory patients in treatment of wound care.
