Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and consultation for patients with fecal and urinary diversions, wounds, drains, and related conditions. The role spans neonate to geriatric populations in acute care, rehab, and teaching settings.

The RN will apply the nursing process, guide staff, and participate in nursing quality initiatives while aligning with NGHS strategic directions and population-specific guidelines.

Qualifications

• RN license or temporary permit in Georgia.
• Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressive RN experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex assessments and documents recommendations for nursing care.
• Plans and updates nursing care plans for Enterostomal Therapy patients and families.
• Provides direct care for patients requiring complex care and mentors staff as needed.
• Supports discharge planning and patient/family education.
