Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – WOC (PRN) to provide expert consultation, assessment, education, and direct care for patients with wounds, ostomy, drains, and continence needs across the continuum of care.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, educate staff and families on enterostomal therapy, assist with discharge planning, and support quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

  • Current Georgia RN license or temporary permit.
  • Degree in Nursing.
  • Minimum three years of progressive RN experience.
  • Experience with wound, ostomy, and continence care preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for wound, ostomy, and continence needs.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and consultant for staff and teams.
  • Educate patients, families, and staff on enterostomal therapy.
  • Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care.
  • Support nursing quality initiatives and research activities.
  • Collaborate with community resources and interdisciplinary teams.
