Job Category:Nursing - Registered NurseWork Shift/Schedule:8 Hr Morning - AfternoonNortheast Georgia Health System is rooted in a foundation of improving the health of our communities.About the Role:Make a meaningful impact through specialized wound, ostomy, and continence care.Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – WOC (PRN) to provide expert consultation, assessment, education, and direct care for patients with wounds, ostomies, drains, pressure injuries, and continence needs across the continuum of care.In this specialized role, you'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, support nursing staff through education and coaching, and help improve patient outcomes through evidence-based practice and clinical expertise.What You'll DoAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with wound, ostomy, and continence needsServe as a clinical resource and consultant for nursing staff and healthcare teamsProvide patient, family, and staff education related to enterostomal therapyAssist with discharge planning and continuity of careSupport nursing quality initiatives, professional practice, and research activitiesCollaborate with community resources and interdisciplinary care teamsQualificationsRequired:Current Georgia RN license or temporary permitDegree in NursingMinimum three (3) years of progressive RN experienceStrong interest and aptitude for Wound, Ostomy, and Continence NursingIdeal Candidates Will Have:Experience caring for complex wound and ostomy patientsExcellent communication and teaching skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skillsWhy NGHS?
