Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Benton Harbor, MI is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead training and go-live activities for our Warehouse Management System. The role may be remote, with focus on ensuring robust training materials and successful system adoption.

The candidate will drive SOP development, coordinate training across multiple Go-Live waves, and work with IT and logistics teams to optimize outbound processes. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related field.
• 5+ years in supply chain, procurement or order management.
• 3+ years in logistics outbound processes.
• SAP experience; WMS knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with IT interfaces and system design.

Responsibilities

• Lead training strategy and course curriculum design.
• Lead a team through a Go Live and Hypercare.
• Oversee development of SOPs, QRGs, training content, and training environment to ensure retention of WMS processes.
• Coordinate and deconflict training plans for Go Lives (Basics of Infios, Train the Trainer, End User, Remedial).
• Develop training metrics to assess on-schedule delivery and reduction of errors during Go Lives and Hypercares.
• Learn relevant system configuration processes.
• Assist in testing.
• Assist in system design and blueprint phase.

The Supply and Logistics team is responsible for keeping the appropriate levels of materials and/or stock supplies with the aim to maximize inventory control and company sales. Organizes deliveries to meet given deadlines and customer expectations. Supervises and tracks the flow of materials and products from suppliers throughout the organization.

This role in summary

Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Supply Chain Manager opening to join our Supply Chain organization. This position is preferred to be located in Benton Harbor, MI but will consider a remote position.

This team is responsible for implementing Warehouse Management System solutions along with maintaining and improving existing warehouse systems by working through business and system issues and driving enhancements across the Supply Chain organization.

Your responsibilities will include

• Lead the training strategy and course curriculum design
• Lead a team through a Go Live and Hypercare
• Oversee the development of SOPs, QRGs, training content, training environment and anything else needed to ensure maximum retention of the WMS processes and functionality
• Coordinate and deconflict training plans for Go Lives which includes but not limited to Basics of Infios, Train the Trainer, End User and Remedial
• Develop training metrics to understand if training is on schedule to plan, all tasks completed and if training was successful in decreasing errors/issues during Go Lives and Hypercares
• Learn relevant system configuration processes
• Assist in testing
• Assist in the system design and blueprint phase

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations
• 5+ years experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or Order Management
• 3+ years experience in Logistics Outbound processes

Preferred skills and experiences

• Technical/Product Knowledge: SAP. WMS experience is a differential.
• Design Thinking experience.
• Experience with IT interface, integration, system design or system maintenance
• Communication, leadership, organization, project management and change management skills
• Manage through or elevate issues, taking accountability
• Interpersonal skills: Strong collaboration and communication abilities to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
