Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Ability to speak, read (fine print) and write in English.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to process orders and maintain inventory in a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Ability to perform data entry tasks and correct transaction errors.
• Ability to handle domestic and international shipping documents.
• Ability to operate Red Prairie (SAP) and WMS systems.
• Knowledge of OS&D (inbound over/short and damages) corrections.
• Knowledge of adjustments and lookup aliases for LTOs.

Responsibilities

• Communicate crucial information to other shifts, GUI operators, leads, supervisors, management, and carriers
• Correct and fix inbound over/short and damage issues
• Make adjustments and access lookup aliases for LTOs
• Use the RF messaging system to communicate between PIT operators and jockeys
• Assign or alert the WMS coordinator/supervisor for velocity adjustments
• Assist in correcting errors at either the driver or warehouse window
• Process orders and maintain inventory in the WMS
• Perform data entry and research and correct transaction errors
• Handle domestic and international shipping documents
• Print and create reports as needed
• Manage inbound trailers in the yard
• Print and file OSDs
• Set up the next shift as requested
• Create and maintain spreadsheets, Excel forms, Word documents, logs, passes, alias sheets, and job-duty documents
• Set up and record outbound and inbound trailers for meetings
• Check and replenish supplies such as paper, labels, and staples
• Assign or allocate doors not completed by the previous shift
• Recheck shorts, make cuts, and reallocate trailers
• Move empty trailers out of doors left by the previous shift
