Job summary

Skechers, the Comfort Technology Company®, seeks an Engineer, WMS to design, develop, and support the Manhattan Active WMS platform to optimize warehouse operations. You will work with IT, architects, and operations to deliver integrations and features.

Required 2+ years with Manhattan WMS, strong microservices and Agile knowledge, and proficiency in Python, JSON, and API integrations. This is a hybrid role based in Southern California with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field.
2+ years hands-on with Manhattan Associates WMS (Active WMS).
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and Agile development.
Proficiency in MAWM Proactive, Velocity, Python, JSON, and API integrations.
Strong knowledge of warehouse/distribution center operations.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, and maintain solutions within Manhattan Active WMS.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop and maintain custom integrations between WMS and other enterprise systems (OMS/ERP/BOOMI/MHE).
Assist in system configuration, testing, and deployment of WMS features.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
Create and maintain design specs, configuration guides, and integration docs.
Collaborate with IT, operations, and vendors on projects.
Support UAT and end-user training efforts.
Ensure solutions follow best practices, security, and scalability.
