Job summary

Skechers in Moreno Valley, CA is seeking an Engineer, WMS to design, develop, configure and maintain the Manhattan Active WMS platform to optimize warehouse and distribution center operations.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, software architects, analysts and warehouse teams to gather requirements, develop integrations with OMS, ERP, MHE and other systems, and support testing, deployment and end-user training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Manhattan Associates WMS (Active WMS).
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and Agile software development methodology.
• Proficiency in MAWM Proactive, Velocity, Python, JSON, and API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain solutions within the Manhattan Active WMS platform.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, software architects, analysts, and warehouse operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain custom integrations between Manhattan Active WMS and other enterprise systems (OMS, ERP, BOOMI, MHE, FTP, etc.).
• Assist in system configuration, testing, and deployment of WMS enhancements and new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, bugs, and system performance bottlenecks.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including design specs, configuration guides, and integration documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and third-party vendors.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and end-user training efforts.
• Ensure solutions align with best practices, scalability, and security standards.
