Job summary

VLink is seeking a senior WMOS/WMS production support consultant to join our global team. The role requires hands-on experience with Manhattan WMOS/WMS in production environments, strong Linux/Unix and SQL skills, and proven incident management abilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in application, infrastructure, or production support.
• Hands-on experience supporting Manhattan WMOS/WMS in a production environment.
• Strong Linux/Unix skills, including CLI, shell scripting, process monitoring, and log analysis.
• Strong SQL skills for troubleshooting, data validation, and root-cause investigation.
• Experience with cron jobs, batch processing, deployments, configuration changes, and environment support.
• Understanding of WMS integrations, interfaces, warehouse transactions, and system workflows.
• Strong incident management, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with WMS Operations, DCS, Infrastructure, application teams, and Manhattan Support to resolve production issues.
• WMOS Infrastructure Support Consultant with hands-on experience supporting Manhattan WMOS/WMS production environments and performing system administration.
• Strong background in application servers, Linux/Unix, SQL, log analysis, cron jobs, integrations, deployments, and production troubleshooting.
• Experienced in collaborating with WMS Operations, DCS, Infrastructure, and Manhattan Support teams to resolve incidents, maintain system stability, and ensure continuous warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform WMS application restarts following DCS configuration changes, system maintenance, and production activities.
• Deploy Jasper reports, label files, configuration artifacts, and application components across WMS nodes.
• Perform SDN updates and create/manage ADC alerts through the Manhattan Management Console.
• Manage SCI report schedules using the IBM Cognos SCI portal.
• Enable and manage diagnostic logging through CLI, collect application logs, and submit/support cases through the Manhattan THRU portal.
• Monitor WMS nodes for stuck or failed processes, including PkCancelS, PkShipWaveS, and PkInvoiceS, and troubleshoot or elevate issues as required.
• Analyze application and system logs to troubleshoot UI failures, transaction errors, application issues, and performance problems.
• Configure and maintain Manhattan Billing connections between WMS application servers and billing servers.
• Configure and monitor cron jobs and scheduled processes, including task release, batch jobs, Inv605, and invoicing processes.
• Configure and test MHE endpoints, including endpoint setup, DIF logging, failover testing, and load‑balancer configuration.
• Troubleshoot PIX transactions, Inv605 failures, and PIX Schedule Export issues to maintain reliable warehouse processing.
• Troubleshoot MIP, MDA, and WM application loading errors during application builds, deployments, and environment changes.
• Investigate wave and allocation failures by analyzing logs, executing SQL queries to identify affected orders/items, determining root cause, and coordinating data corrections with DCS teams.
• Develop scripts and automation for routine environment support activities, including verification/validation checks, automated application restarts, and operational health checks.
