Job summary

Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA is seeking a Neurology Advanced Practice Provider (CRNP or PA-C) to support the neurology team. The APP will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with neurological conditions under supervising physicians, contributing to continuity of care and patient outcomes.

The role is full-time and on-site, with a focus on patient-centered care, coordination with the neurology group, and participation in inpatient rounds and outpatient management as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current Pennsylvania licensure as a CRNP or PA.
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and perform physical examinations.
• Evaluate and manage patients with neurological conditions under established protocols and collaborative agreements.
• Order, review, and interpret laboratory studies and other diagnostic testing.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Provide follow up care for patients with chronic neurological conditions.
• Assist with inpatient rounding, consultations, discharge planning, and disease management.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health record documentation.

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Neurology Advanced Practice Provider (CRNP or PA) to support our neurology team. The Advanced Practice Provider will work collaboratively with Neurologist and referring provider group to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with neurological conditions while supporting continuity of care.
