Job summary

Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) seeks a WMD Analyst (Nuclear Enterprise Defense) to identify, monitor, and assess foreign threats to the U.S. nuclear enterprise and its information systems.

The role involves generating all-source analyses to warn and protect nuclear, strategic, and C4I elements, and collaborating with IC/DoD, labs, and academia. The analyst will contribute to Defense Intelligence Enterprise deliverables, mentor staff, and articulate official positions in engagements.

Qualifications

• Experience with intelligence cycle functions and producing intelligence reports or deliverables.
• Familiarity with IC directives, standards, and tradecraft.
• Ability to work in or lead analytical teams and communicate complex analyses.

Responsibilities

• Identify, monitor, and assess foreign threats to U.S. nuclear enterprise and its information systems.
• Conduct all-source analyses to characterize foreign actors and threats for warnings and protections.
• Collaborate with IC, DoD, national labs, and academia; contribute to DIA deliverables.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and represent Defense Intelligence Enterprise analytic units.
