Job summary

Landmark Snacks in Beatrice, NE is seeking a dedicated packaging team member for our Ready-To-Eat area. You will handle cooked meat snacks as they move into final packaging, ensuring accuracy and quality at each step.

The role requires standing for the shift, reading and following English or Spanish instructions, and learning to operate pallet jacks and production equipment in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to read and interpret documents in English or Spanish.
• Ability to be at work regularly and on time.
• Stand on hard surfaces for 10 hours.
• Sufficient written communication and reading skills.
• Ability to operate or to quickly learn equipment.
• Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to assess products for quality compliance.

Job Details: Job Location: Beatrice, NE 68310, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $19.50 - $23.00 Hourly, Job Shift: Day, Overview: At Landmark Snacks, the packaging team members work in our Ready-To-Eat (RTE) area. In this area, you would be directly handling cooked meat snacks into their final packages.

• Load and unload items from machines or conveyors
• Perform physically demanding work that requires good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and stamina
• Place individual packages into boxes for final packaging
• Use and move finished goods and materials with a pallet jack for further production packing or processing
• Strictly adhere to client specifications and ensure good quality work
