Job summary

Ryther Child Center is expanding its WISe program and seeking a WISe Therapist to join our team. The therapist will work with children, youth and families in home and community settings, coordinating care with a Wraparound Facilitator and Parent/Youth Partner to meet individualized needs.

Requirements include a Master's degree in a relevant field, WA State license or registration, and MH Professional certification, plus 2 years of experience with youth with complex behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy or a related field.
• Washington State DOH counselor registration or license is required; Mental Health Professional certification.
• Two years’ experience providing treatment to children or adolescents with serious emotional/behavioral issues.
• Experience in publicly funded service systems or crisis intervention is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic support to children, youth and families in home, school, and community settings.
• Identify goals, assess needs, and coordinate access to community resources in collaboration with a Wraparound Facilitator and Parent/Youth Partner.
• Conduct outreach to clients and families in their homes, schools, and communities.
