Responsibilities

• Plan and execute a multi-year state legislative and regulatory agenda.
• Draft bills and regulatory language and secure sponsors.
• Testify before state legislative committees and train volunteers and staff to testify.
• Develop and grow relationships with legislators and state officials.
• Track state legislation and monitor committee actions.
• Report lobbying activities and ensure compliance with lobbying rules.
• Collaborate on State Advocacy Day at the state capitol.
• Identify opportunities for grassroots engagement on state issues.
