Job summary

The Walsh Group offers interns in the Wisconsin region (Bristol and Mount Pleasant) a hands-on exposure to project engineering and field management. Interns may work on-site in jobsites or offices, with opportunities to travel across the United States and align placements with academic goals.

Interns will learn multiple career paths within the company, receive training, and may become full-time employees after college graduation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to work a 12-week schedule preferred.
• Specific roles may require relocation.

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager or field supervision staff with project coordination.
• Estimate costs for change orders.
• Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity.
• Schedule contracts and materials.
• Document control and coordination of subcontractors.
• Safety management.
• Participation in team meetings.
• Write RFIs, submittals, and assist in change orders.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred
