Job summary

Avina of Kenosha seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine daily nursing care aligned with resident assessments and care plans.

Assist with activities of daily living, mobility, grooming, dining, and infection control while reporting changes to nurses and collaborating with the care team. This full-time position offers competitive pay and benefits including daily pay and 401k matching.

Qualifications

• Must have current and active nursing aide certification in Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Resident centered care including assistance with activities of daily living.
• Positioning, moving and restorative care.
• Mobility, toileting and bathing.
• Grooming: oral, shaving and nail care.
• Dining assistance.
• Dressing and undressing.
• Infection control and prevention.
• Nutrition and elimination.
• Comfort care and end of life care.
• Report all changes in the resident's condition to your assigned nurse promptly.
• Record entries on flow sheets and charts clearly.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide coordinated care.
