Qualifications

• Must have current Wisconsin nursing aide certification.
• Nursing assistant duties include resident care per the care plan.
• Team-based, collaborative approach with nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Positioning, mobility, and restorative care.
• Mobility, toileting, and bathing.
• Grooming: oral care, shaving, and nail care.
• Dining assistance.
• Dressing and undressing.
• Infection control and prevention.
• Nutrition and elimination.
• Comfort care and end-of-life care.
• Respond to call lights promptly.
• Report changes to the assigned nurse as soon as possible.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in a descriptive manner.
• Be a team player coordinating with all facility disciplines.
