We are seeking a Wiring Technician to assemble electrical panels. General responsibilities and qualifications are as follows:

POSITION OBJECTIVE AND SUMMARY

Assembly of electrical panels and components.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under general guidelines of management,

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and/or drawings.
• Knowledge of electrical symbols.
• Knowledge of wiring and measuring techniques.
• Wire panels that include motor control, high humidity cut-off box, motor box, pressure switch/solenoid boxes, pump control, valve control, fogstat control, and P.L.C.
• Assemble panels using electrical schematics, lay out assembly boards, drill panels for assembly.
• Ability to use hand tools and/or power hand tools.
• Other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation in the areas outlined below.

EDUCATION

Preferably High School diploma or GED; equivalent work experience may be substituted for education.

EXPERIENCE

Requires a minimum of 1-2 years of experience and thorough knowledge of the essential duties.

KNOWLEDGE

Must know basic math, basic measuring techniques, and electrical symbols.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to read and understand work orders; aptitude to learn; ability to interpret electrical schematics; working knowledge of hand tools and power hand tools; and ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Must be organized and detail-oriented.
