Job summary

Johnson Controls in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Wiring Technician/Electrician to wire transformers, panels, and devices per engineering drawings. You will work safely with quality workmanship in a manufacturing environment.

The role involves wiring PLC transformers, assembling control panels from drawings, and performing conduit layouts in accordance with NEC/UL standards at our San Antonio plant.

Qualifications

• Understand P&ID on electrical drawings as applicable.
• Use hand tools, electrical equipment, and measuring tape safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Active participation in Continuous Improvement Team.

Responsibilities

• Wire PLC transformers, microprocessors, and junction boxes.
• Assemble and wire control panels from drawings.
• Perform conduit layout per NEC and UL standards.
• Identify and wire all devices on the unit.
