Job summary

Mission Critical Group in the United States (Mississippi) is seeking a Wiring Technician to provide entry-level support for electrical assembly, learning wiring techniques, and contributing to fast, quality production. Work with team to meet deadlines.

The role is on the production floor, requires high school diploma, 0-1 year experience with hand tools, safety compliance, and willingness to learn. Overtime possible; non-exempt hourly position; compensation USD 20 - USD 22 hourly.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, terminate, wire and install components per drawings with guidance.
  • Install and mount controls, panels, sensors to meet deadlines.
  • Operate tools safely and maintain a clean work area.
  • Read schematics and determine parts, methods, and sequencing.
  • Follow safety procedures and quality standards on the floor.
  • Assist with cleaning and packing finished products for shipping.
  • Identify missing materials or production problems and report them.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

The overallobjectiveof the Wiring Technician position is to provide entry-level support for electrical assembly functions while learning wiring techniquestocontribute to a team focused on achieving industry leading cycle time, delivering superior quality, andassistingin reducing per unit costs to drive operational success. Accountabilities

  • Assemble,terminate,wireand install electrical components and devices into enclosures, per drawing packages and instructions defined by the Engineering Department to a sufficient level ofproficiencywith minimal errors under mentorship and guidance from senior team members orforemen.
  • Install and mount electrical controls, panels,sensors,and components by reading andcomprehendingschematics or documents to efficiently build customized equipmenttomeet deadlines.
  • Perform daily tasks with safe and proper use of equipment and tools, including tape measures, crimpers, drills, hand power tools, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, tilt tables, andsawhorses.
  • Interpret and apply basic electrical manufacturing knowledge and principles and read specifications todeterminecomponentparts, methods, and sequencing.
  • Maintain a safe,clean,and well-organized work area bycomplying withsafety procedures, rules, quality standards and best practices, and relying on pre-established guidelines or directions from senior team members to perform tasks optimally.
  • Assistwith cleaning and packing finished products for shipping.
  • Identifyand report missing materials or production problems that may cause project delays oreffectquality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Requiredknowledge/Experience

  • 0-1years of experience using hand tools in a skilled labor environment.

Education

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • This is a FLSA non-exempt position paid on an hourly basis. Overtime may berequiredbased on production demands, including extended shifts, weekends, or holidays.
  • This role is based on the production floor. The position requires standing for extended periods, working around machinery, and adherence to all safety and compliance standards.
  • Mobility: Ability to move around the manufacturing plant, including walking, standing, and climbing stairs.
  • Manual Dexterity: Occasional use of hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Lifting: Ability to lift and carry items up tofifty(50) pounds. All lifting should be done following OSHA standards.
  • Visual and Auditory Requirements: Must be able to see and hear well enough to navigate the plant safely and communicate effectively with team members.
