Job summary

TOOGANN TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a Wiring Harness Design Release Engineer with strong CATIA V5/V6 skills and automotive electrical system expertise to design, develop, and release harness components for vehicle programs. You will create and manage 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs, ensuring efficient integration with cross-functional teams and adherence to OEM specs.

The role requires a mechanical or electrical engineering background and 4–5 years of harness design/release experience, familiarity

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field is required.

Responsibilities

Design and develop wiring harness layouts, routing, and packaging in CATIA V5/V6.
Create and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings for harness components and assemblies.
Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, and Manufacturing teams to ensure proper integration of harness systems.
Perform design validation checks for fit, form, and function within vehicle architecture.
Manage BOM and release harness designs into PLM systems.
Ensure compliance with automotive standards (ISO, SAE, OEM guidelines).
Support prototype builds and resolve design issues during development.
Work with suppliers for component feasibility and cost optimization.
