Job summary

Orbital Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Wiring Harness Assembler to join our Zephyrhills, FL team. This hands-on role focuses on precision and craftsmanship, contributing directly to product quality in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will read wiring diagrams, cut and terminate wires, solder connections, and inspect finished harnesses to ensure conformity with specifications. A strong eye for detail and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wiring harnesses and cable assemblies according to drawings and instructions.
• Cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires to specified lengths and configurations.
• Solder connections and install connectors and components as directed.
• Inspect assemblies for quality, continuity, and adherence to specs.
• Use hand tools and test equipment to complete assemblies.
• Identify and report defects or production issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation per company standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wiring harnesses and cable assemblies according to engineering drawings and work instructions
• Cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires to specified lengths and configurations
• Solder connections and install connectors, terminals, and other components
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality, continuity, and compliance with specifications
• Use hand tools, crimping tools, and test equipment to complete assemblies
• Identify and report defects, discrepancies, or production issues to supervisors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in accordance with company standards

Requirements

• Prior experience in wiring harness assembly, cable assembly, or electrical manufacturing preferred
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly drawings
• Proficiency with hand tools, crimping tools, and soldering equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
