Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Wireway Associate for 1st shift in Battleboro, NC. You will operate multiple fabrication machines and perform inspections to ensure parts meet drawings and sketches.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, reading process instructions, handling measuring tools, operating forklifts, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in the work area.

Qualifications

• Read and understand operations manuals.
• Read and understand process instructions and process drawings.
• Set up each machine and perform first piece inspections.
• Perform quality inspections of work.
• Operate shears, punch presses, press brakes, spot welder, roll former, and other fabrication equipment.
• Use conventional measuring instruments such as tape measures and micrometers.
• Assemble parts.
• Operate forklift.
• Repetitively lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
