Job summary

National Oilwell Varco (NOV) seeks a Service Technician to clean, repair, test, install, and maintain NOV WFL Brand products at the New Iberia service facility and, occasionally, customer sites. You will report failures, complete work-pack documentation, and ensure QA procedures are followed.

A high school diploma and 3 years of Wireline Winch experience are required. The role requires proficiency with MS Office, ability to read assembly drawings, and willingness to work overtime/on-call.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• 3 years’ experience with operation/maintenance of Wireline Winch units (land/offshore).
• Experience with repair and maintenance of Wireline winch units.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office (Word/Excel/Teams).
• Knowledge of rig and completion well site operations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean, repair, test, install, and maintain NOV WFL Brand products at NOV Service Facility and customer sites.
• Communicate product failures and feedback to appropriate departments.
• Complete and submit work pack documentation promptly.
• Service and repair customer property related to WFL Aftermarket.
• Adhere to QA procedures and departmental work instructions.
• Operate safely, keep work area tidy, and prepare surfaces for assembly/testing.
• Disassemble equipment to remove parts and perform repairs.
• Function test repaired equipment to ensure full specification.
