Job summary

KLX Energy Services LLC in Odessa, TX seeks a Wireline Operator to operate and maintain wireline trucks and support open-hole and/or cased-hole logging and completion services.

This role requires strong safety awareness, a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat Endorsement, and the ability to rig up/down equipment, follow SOPs, and document logs. OT may apply and travel is possible within the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: less than high school; preferred high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat Endorsement and ATF Explosives clearance.
• Experience in oilfield operations and familiarity with wireline equipment considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Installs/disassembles wireline and pressure control equipment per OEM standards; verifies certifications.
• Monitors and adjusts process/equipment for quality and safety.
• Handles shipping/receiving with compliance to FMCSA regulations and paperwork.
• Operates and maintains wireline truck and equipment; troubleshoots as needed.
• Drives wireline trucks and associated vehicles.
• Ensures compliance with regulations related to wireline explosives operations.
• Cleans and maintains vehicles/tools; supports crew on/off location.
