Job summary

KLX Energy Services LLC is seeking a Wireline Operator for our Cheyenne, WY location to support open-hole and cased-hole logging services. This role involves rigging up/down, operating and maintaining the wireline truck, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will work with a team in a fast-paced field environment, handle equipment maintenance, and follow all safety guidelines and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Obtain a Class A CDL with Hazmat Endorsement.
• Obtain a Notice of Clearance from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.
• Read and understand safety labels and postings.

Responsibilities

• Installs / disassembles wireline and pressure control equipment per OEM standards.
• Monitors and adjusts processes to maximize quality and efficiency while following safety guidelines.
• Performs shipping, loading, and unloading with compliance to FMCSA regulations.
• Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots the wireline truck and equipment.
• Drives wireline trucks, cranes, pickups, and trailers as needed.
• Ensures compliance with regulations for wireline explosives operations.
• Cleans and maintains vehicles, tools, and equipment and troubleshoots issues.
• Supports crew and liaises with technicians on equipment failures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
