Job summary

Horizontal Wireline Services is seeking a Cased Hole Wireline Operator to join the team in Texas. The role encompasses learning all aspects of job prep and safely executing wireline operations under supervision, reporting to crew leaders and management.

Core duties include operating heavy equipment, assisting with pre-job load-outs, and ensuring compliance with policies. The position offers on-call work, with opportunities to obtain required training and advance toward the Operator role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; geology/engineering degree preferred.
• Ability to obtain BATFE clearance for explosives.
• Prior wireline operator experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of heavy-equipment operating principles.
• Willingness to learn under supervision to safely operate heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of loading, transporting, and assembling perforating and plug-setting equipment.
• Ability to drive and operate equipment under various conditions.
• Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to meet deadlines with dependability and consistency.
• CDL and Hazmat endorsements within company timeline.
• Company-specific crane and pressure-control certifications may be required.
• Ability to read safety manuals and procedures.
• Strong communication with peers and supervisors.
• Ability to solve field problems and interpret data from written or diagrammatic formats.
• Willingness to progress toward Operator position.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment used in wireline operations.
• Assist in pre-job load-outs and equipment readiness.
• Follow government, company, and client policies and procedures.
• Identify issues and report to appropriate departments.
• Work on-call and dispatch to job sites as needed.
• Complete required training qualifications for the position.
• Remain current on third party and company training programs.
• Support the company vision, mission, and values.
