Job summary

KLX Energy Services LLC is seeking a Wireline Field Engineer for our Cheyenne, WY location. This role directs workflow, supervises operators on site, and ensures safe operation of wireline truck and equipment for formation evaluation, logging, perforating, and related services.

You will train staff, maintain equipment, and uphold the company HSE program while interfacing with customers, planning jobs, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years work experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a valid Employee Possessor issued by ATF.
• Satisfactory driving record per Company policies.
• Ability to communicate with written and verbal forms.
• Effective leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises personnel and provides technical support for operations at the wellsite, yard, and other locations.
• Interacts with customers and oversees on-site logging operations.
• Plans and coordinates operations using technical expertise for equipment use.
• Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots onsite equipment; trains staff.
• Promotes HSE program and ensures compliance with regulations and standards.
• Prepares and delivers job documentation (tickets, reports, forms).
• Trains personnel to ensure proper operation and SOP compliance.
• Reviews performance and assists management with personnel decisions.
