TP-Link Systems Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Wireless Systems Integration Engineer to integrate wireless chipsets and optimize mesh and IoT networking solutions, collaborating with chipset manufacturers on Wi‑Fi technologies including WiFi7.

You will develop drivers and firmware, perform RF calibration, run performance tests, and work with cross‑functional teams to enhance reliability and user experience across TP-Link's wireless products.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of wireless driver development experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
• Experience troubleshooting Wi‑Fi issues with standard tools.
• Familiarity with 802.11 wireless protocols.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and select wireless chipsets, adapt drivers and scripts.
• Support integration framework for diverse chipsets.
• Develop and optimize Wi‑Fi chipsets, OS, drivers, and firmware for reliable connectivity.
• Stay updated on 802.11 standards and develop certification software.
• Design and implement wireless and Mesh functionalities with high-quality code.
• Develop RF calibration software for precise performance.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain standards.
• Assist in self-testing of wireless modules and diagnose issues.
