Job summary

Apple Inc. in Waltham, MA is seeking a Wireless SoC RF Integration and Validation Engineer to drive end-to-end RF bring-up and validation of Apple’s wireless silicon.

You will develop DUT control sequences, calibrations, and scripts, and work with RF test equipment to analyze data and deliver performance reports. You will collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure product specifications are met, contributing to development of RF firmware and embedded software for next-generation

Qualifications

• BS and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong RF background with knowledge of RF transceivers and systems fundamentals.
• Experience with embedded systems and C programming language.
• Python programming language is highly desired.
• Familiarity with RF parametric testing (IP3, NF, ACPR, phase noise).

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate RF end-to-end DUT control sequences and verify with emulation/simulation.
• Responsible for wireless-SOC RF functionality bring up.
• Design and develop RF block and/or system calibrations including algorithms and optimizations.
• RF performance optimization and characterization (Psat, Mask, IP3, NF, ACPR, phase noise).
• Design RF test benches and scripts to control wireless-SOC and communicate test equipment.
• Write scripts to plot, parse and analyze large data sets.
• Generate RF performance summaries based on characterization results vs. chip specs.
• Develop RF calibrations and tests for wafer/module ATE mass production and analyze failures.
• Develop RF firmware based on Python reference script.
