Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory in Idaho Falls offers an internship to support advanced radar research, modeling classical and quantum radar methods for detecting low‑RCS targets, drones, and multi‑target scenarios.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full time in a Master or Doctorate program in EE, CS, or Applied Math
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Authorization to work in the U.S. (CPT/OPT)
• Current resume or CV
• Unofficial transcripts (current and completed)
• Current class schedule with credits
• Experience/coursework in MATLAB and Python

Responsibilities

• Model and evaluate classical and quantum radar approaches for detecting/tracking targets
• Develop multi-agent reinforcement learning algorithms for spectrum sharing
• Report to the Plant Optimization team at Idaho Falls campus
