Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a QA/Automation Engineer to validate wireless platforms by writing test plans, developing automation, and analyzing system behavior. You will work with live networking gear in lab environments and use AI-assisted tools to boost efficiency.

Ideal candidates have a computer science/engineering background, strong Python skills, and a solid understanding of basic networking concepts. This is a potential posting with opportunities in Richardson, TX.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Network Engineering or related field (within 3 years of completion or expected within 12 months).
• Strong programming fundamentals, preferably Python or similar scripting language; basic understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and routing.

Responsabilidades

• Write and execute test plans and test cases for wireless features and systems.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or similar languages.
• Analyze test results and identify issues, inconsistencies, or performance gaps.
• Reproduce customer and system issues in controlled lab environments.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining testbeds and lab environments (routers, switches, access points).
• Collaborate with development and platform teams to debug and resolve issues.
• Learn and apply AI-assisted tools to improve testing efficiency and automation.
