Job summary

New Era Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced Wireless Network Engineer to design, implement, manage, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise wireless and wired networks. You’ll work with Cisco WLCs, 9800 series, Ekahau RF surveys, and security with ISE/NAC to ensure reliable, secure connectivity.

You will collaboratively support network deployments, perform site surveys, analyze RF data, and optimize performance across IT teams in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in wireless network engineering and enterprise networking.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco wireless technologies and RF concepts.
• Experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise wireless networks.
• Experience with wireless site surveys and RF analysis.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently on complex technical issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and collaboration with cross-functional IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, implement, and maintain scalable enterprise wireless (802.11) and wired LAN/WAN networks.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) including Catalyst 9800 series.
• Configure and support Cisco access points and related infrastructure.
• Perform RF site surveys using Ekahau and analyze coverage and interference.
• Monitor network health with Cisco Catalyst Centre and Cisco Prime; analyze syslog and logs.
• Implement and maintain wireless security and NAC with Cisco ISE.
• Troubleshoot wireless connectivity, performance, roaming, and authentication issues.
• Collaborate with IT teams to deliver reliable network services and participate in upgrades/migrations.
