Job summary

Apple, Inc. is seeking an engineer to own the design, integration, and verification of digital interfaces and power delivery for wireless subsystems. You will lead end-to-end hardware design for wireless subsystems, coordinating with silicon, software, and platform teams and external chipset vendors.

The role requires a strong foundation in digital interfaces, power distribution networks, firmware, and debug. International travel (~15%) is possible for build and bring-up activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Familiarity with PCIe, MIPI, I2C, SPI, UART interfaces.
• Experience with power distribution networks and lab debug tools.

Responsibilities

• Define system interconnects and power architectures for wireless subsystems.
• Design and validate power supply circuits and hold-up analysis.
• Bring up and validate interfaces on pre-silicon and silicon platforms.
• Develop bare-metal firmware for hardware validation.
• Drive root-cause analysis for hardware issues in cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with external chipset vendors on integration plans.
