Job summary

Tarana Wireless Inc. is seeking a Compliance Engineer to ensure wireless products meet regulatory requirements before release. You will drive pre-compliance testing, collaborate with external labs, and coordinate with cross-functional teams on compliance activities.

The role requires 2–5 years in RF/EMC regulatory compliance for FWA/ngFWA platforms, deep knowledge of FCC/ETSI standards, and hands-on lab equipment experience. Competitive benefits are offered; salary ranges stated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years in RF and EMC regulatory compliance for FWA platforms or outdoor wireless infrastructure.
• Experience with RF testing parameters: OBW, PSD, in-band mask, Band Edge, frequency stability.
• Experience with EMC evaluations: radiated/conducted emissions, immunity, surge testing according to FCC/ETSI.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Compliance Testing & Analysis: Drive in-house testing and document results to support evaluations.
• External Lab Collaboration: Partner with third-party accredited labs for formal testing and certification tracks.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Align compliance activities with systems engineers, RF/hardware engineers, PMs, and operations.
• Certification Preparation & Review: Prepare DUTs for outside evaluations and review FCC/ETSI test reports.
• Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis: Investigate failing test cases to drive engineering resolutions.
