Job summary

City of Mesa is seeking an experienced IT Project Liaison to lead planning, coordination, and oversight of the City’s wireless communications infrastructure for DoIT and TRWC members. The role requires collaboration across departments to ensure reliable and high-performing wireless systems supporting Public Safety and critical operations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics, Communications, Information, or related Technology field required.
• Five years of full-time employment in installation, maintenance, design, and/or modification of radio or related communications systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, implement, and oversee wireless communications projects following PMO methodologies.
• Develop project documentation covering scope, schedule, cost, quality, and transition to operations.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, technicians, and Communications Project Liaisons to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Support all phases of infrastructure and subscriber projects including research, requirements, permitting, construction oversight, vendor management, and system testing.
