Job summary

Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) invites students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical or Computer Engineering to join the Wireless Cyber Capabilities Group. You will work on wireless communications, collaborate with engineers and software developers, and help shape solutions for government challenges.

Ideal candidates are passionate about signals & systems, software programming, and may pursue roles requiring interim secret clearance. A minimum 3.0 GPA is expected.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Interest in signals & systems or wireless communication concepts.
• Strong passion for software programming.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret security clearance by start date and, ultimately, Secret level clearance; US citizenship required.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team leveraging wireless communications expertise, SDR, and RFML to own the communications environment.
• Collaborate with wireless communications engineers and software developers to implement wireless communication technology solutions.
