The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks graduates in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science to join a multidisciplinary team focused on end-to-end communications systems for special operations and intelligence communities.

You will design adaptive communication systems, analyze resilient networks, and work with wired and wireless links, SDR, and 5G technologies while engaging with sponsors on challenging problems.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Proficiency in digital signal processing, physics, and communication theory; programming in C/C++, C#, or Java, and scripting with MATLAB, Python, or other languages.
• Ability to work effectively in small, multi-disciplinary teams.
• Eligibility for Interim Top Secret clearance with potential to obtain Top Secret/SCI; US citizenship required.

Responsabilidades

• Design communication systems that adapt to unique and dynamic operational environments.
• Orchestrate and analyze resilient networks spanning unconventional domains.
• Work with technologies that may include wired, wireless (RF & optical) links, LOS/BLOS, IP networking, RF systems, protocols, SDR, 5G (and beyond).
• Engage with sponsors to understand and tackle their toughest problems.
• Research, advance, and apply new technologies to address evolving threats.
