Job summary

Apple, Cupertino, CA, seeks a Wireless Bluetooth QA Engineer to own the quality of Bluetooth-enabled features across its product lineup. You will perform manual and automated testing, define test plans, triage issues, and collaborate with engineering to ship reliable experiences.

You will build and maintain test automation scripts (Python) and contribute to CI pipelines; C/C++/Swift skills are preferred. This is a high-impact role with broad customer reach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience validating and testing products, with domain expertise in Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, Audio, or Networking.
• 2+ years of experience defining test plans and creating test cases based on technical specifications and feature requirements.
• 1+ years of experience developing test automation scripts using Python, Perl, or similar programming languages.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on experience validating and testing products, with domain expertise in one or more of the following: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, Audio, or Networking
• 2+ years of experience defining test plans and creating test cases based on technical specifications and feature requirements
• 1+ years of experience developing test automation scripts using Python, Perl, or similar programming languages

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in C++, C, Objective-C, or Swift
• Obsessively passionate and inquisitive with a drive to solve everyday problems in innovative ways
• Exceptional problem-solving, debugging, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and projects
• Laser-focused on the smallest details that are most meaningful to customers
• Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins
• Experience with AI tools and workflows is a plus

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $149,200 and $297,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
