Mobile Generation LLC in Louisville, KY, is seeking a Verizon Wireless Assistant Store Manager. You will work with the Store Manager to ensure the sales team is proficient in the selling process, Verizon products, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The role requires prior retail leadership, preferably in wireless, with the ability to lead, coach, and engage customers daily. Willingness to travel among Midwest locations, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a similar retail role, preferably in wireless.
• Proof of achievement in prior sales roles is required.
• Ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team.
• Willingness to travel to multiple Midwest locations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with Store Manager to build a positive, customer- and goal-oriented environment.
• Assist in hiring, scheduling, and supervising Verizon Wireless Sales Associates.
• Meet or exceed personal and team KPIs each month.
• Coach/mentor the team to provide exceptional customer experiences.
• Ensure location adheres to Verizon Wireless and Mobile Generation guidelines.
• Support promotional events, inventory procedures, or other duties as assigned.

The Verizon Wireless Assistant Store Manager for Mobile Generation will be responsible for working directly with the Store Manager to ensure the sales team is well versed in our selling process, Verizon Wireless products and services, and ensuring our retail location is attaining our operational standards of excellence. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in retail environments, preferably in the wireless industry, and is well-skilled in delivering an excellent customer experience that includes an effective sales process, providing product and service knowledge, and ability to manage any type of customer concern or need with professionalism and a positive attitude.

The Mobile Generation Verizon Wireless Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for:

• Working side by side with the Store Manager to build a positive, customer and goal-oriented environment.
• Assist Store Manager as directed to hire, schedule, and supervise a team of Verizon Wireless Sales Associates.
• Meet or exceed both your personal and team key performance indicators each month
• Coach/mentor your team every day so they can provide an exceptional customer experience each time.
• Ensure your assigned location is operating under the specific guidelines of both Verizon Wireless and Mobile Generation.
• Assist the Store Manager in any promotional role, inventory procedure, or other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
• Set an example of personal and professional conduct for employees and others.

Mobile Generation is looking for candidates with:

• 1+ years of experience in a similar role in a retail environment, preferably with Verizon Wireless or other Wireless business.
• Proof of achievement in prior sales roles is required
• Ability to lead, coach, and inspire your team members.
• Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology products, and customer service.
• Ability to travel to our various locations across the Midwest and business needs dictate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.
